Description

Juicy oven-baked pork tenderloin served with a rich and creamy Dijon mustard sauce, finished with garlic, thyme, and Parmesan for a comforting and elegant dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pork tenderloins, about 2 pounds total
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Pat pork tenderloins dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Whisk together chicken broth, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, thyme, and Parmesan cheese in a bowl.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear pork on all sides until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour the Dijon cream mixture around the pork.
  7. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until pork reaches 145°F internally.
  8. Remove from oven and let pork rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Stir remaining butter into the sauce.
  10. Slice pork and serve with the creamy Dijon sauce spooned over the top.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the pork to keep it tender and juicy.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
  • Allow the pork to rest before slicing to retain juices.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms for extra richness.
