- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the crescent dough and arrange prosciutto slices evenly over the dough.
- Spread Dijon mustard or chosen chutney over the prosciutto.
- Place sausage meat in a log shape along the edge of the dough, leaving a small border.
- Carefully roll the dough around the sausage to form a wreath shape, pinching ends to seal.
- Brush the top of the wreath with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Slice and enjoy warm.
