- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- ½ cup cookie butter (Biscoff or Speculoos)
- Optional: granulated sugar for sprinkling on top
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread cookie butter evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip several times and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Optional: sprinkle granulated sugar on top for extra sweetness.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Keep puff pastry cold until ready to use to ensure maximum flakiness.
- Can use chocolate spread or peanut butter as an alternative to cookie butter.
- Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for 1–2 days.
