Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • a few drops pink food coloring
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually combine with the wet mixture.
  4. Scoop dough into evenly sized balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set but still pale.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and pink food coloring to make frosting, then spread over completely cooled cookies.
  7. Let frosting set slightly before serving.
