Description

A quick and flavorful stir fry made with tender beef, colorful bell peppers, and onions in a rich savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin steak: 450g sliced
  • Bell peppers: 3 medium sliced
  • Onion: 1 large sliced
  • Garlic cloves: 3 cloves minced
  • Soy sauce: 80ml
  • Beef broth: 120ml
  • Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar: 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat until very hot.
  2. Mix soy sauce, beef broth, cornstarch, black pepper, salt, and sugar in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Add vegetable oil to the pan and swirl to coat evenly.
  4. Add sliced beef and sear until browned on all sides.
  5. Add garlic, onion, and bell peppers, stir fry until slightly tender but still crisp.
  6. Pour in sauce mixture and cook until thickened and glossy.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
