Ingredients
- Beef sirloin steak: 450g sliced
- Bell peppers: 3 medium sliced
- Onion: 1 large sliced
- Garlic cloves: 3 cloves minced
- Soy sauce: 80ml
- Beef broth: 120ml
- Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar: 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat until very hot.
- Mix soy sauce, beef broth, cornstarch, black pepper, salt, and sugar in a bowl until smooth.
- Add vegetable oil to the pan and swirl to coat evenly.
- Add sliced beef and sear until browned on all sides.
- Add garlic, onion, and bell peppers, stir fry until slightly tender but still crisp.
- Pour in sauce mixture and cook until thickened and glossy.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
- Cook on high heat to get proper searing.
- Do not overcrowd the pan for best texture.
