- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 cups vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat until ready for frying.
- In one bowl, mix flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Ensure the oil is hot but not smoking for even cooking.
- Dip each chicken fillet into the flour mixture, then eggs, then breadcrumbs. Repeat for a thicker coating if desired.
- Fry the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing chicken in buns, adding lettuce and mayonnaise, then serve.
