- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
- Add remaining butter, garlic, and honey to the skillet and stir until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add parmesan cheese gradually and stir until smooth.
- Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until fully coated.
- Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet.
- Top with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
- Reserve pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
- Reheat leftovers slowly over low heat for best texture.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy variation.
