Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Turn the slow cooker to low or high depending on your schedule.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, apple juice, and vegetable oil until well blended.
  3. Lightly grease the slow cooker if needed.
  4. Add the chicken pieces into the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken is tender.
