Description

Golden, crispy chicken strips coated in garlic and parmesan, baked to perfection with a crunchy exterior and juicy center.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken strips
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. In one bowl mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. In another bowl whisk eggs. In a third bowl combine breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, and parsley.
  3. Lightly grease a baking tray with olive oil.
  4. Coat each chicken strip in flour, then dip in eggs, then press into breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange on tray and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for better flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the tray for even crispiness.
  • Flip halfway through cooking for best results.
  • Reheat in oven to maintain crunch.
