Description
Crispy golden egg rolls filled with creamy cheesecake filling and sweet cherry pie filling, served with a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of chocolate. A fun handheld dessert everyone will love.

- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
- Chocolate or caramel sauce, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with a corner facing you. Spread 1 tbsp of cheesecake mixture and 1 tbsp of cherry pie filling in the center.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly. Moisten the top corner with water to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
- Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry egg rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate/caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- You can bake them at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, brushing with butter, for a lighter version.
- Swap cherry pie filling with blueberry, apple, or strawberry for variety.
- Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
