Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin powder
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare dessert cups and make space in the refrigerator for chilling.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a saucepan or heatproof bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin powder in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Add the cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir well.
- Allow the gelatin mixture to cool slightly, then slowly fold it into the yogurt mixture until smooth and fully combined.
- Pour the mixture evenly into dessert cups.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream before serving if desired.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
- For the creamiest texture, use full-fat Greek yogurt.
- Do not mix very hot gelatin directly into cold yogurt to avoid separation.
- This dessert tastes even better after chilling overnight.
- You can replace strawberry gelatin with raspberry, peach, or mango flavors for variation.
