Description
This Creamy Lasagna Soup combines all the flavors of classic lasagna in a comforting, hearty soup. Ground beef and pork are simmered with aromatics, tomato sauce, and cream, then tossed with broken lasagna noodles and topped with melty cheese and fresh herbs.

- 2 yellow onions, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes, adjust for heat

- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 10 oz ground beef (300g)
- 10 oz ground pork (300g)
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz lasagna sheets, broken into pieces
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (measure with your heart)
- Ricotta cheese and fresh basil for serving (optional)
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil or pork lard in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onions and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, garlic powder, oregano, chili flakes, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in tomato paste, then add ground beef and ground pork. Cook until meat is browned and cooked through.
- Add tomato sauce, heavy cream, chicken broth, sugar, and water. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add broken lasagna sheets and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
- Stir in shredded mozzarella until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, optionally topping with ricotta cheese, fresh basil, and chopped parsley.

- Adjust chili flakes for desired heat level.
- Broken lasagna noodles create the perfect texture for soup; use fresh or dried noodles.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days and reheated gently.
