Description
A refreshing coconut water matcha float made with whisked matcha, chilled coconut water, vanilla, maple syrup, ice, and a creamy scoop of vanilla coconut ice cream.

- 1 teaspoon matcha powder, sifted
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1 cup chilled coconut water
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1 scoop vanilla coconut ice cream, about 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Warm 2 tablespoons of water until hot to the touch, but not boiling.
- Add the sifted matcha powder to a small bowl.
- Pour in the warm water and whisk until smooth, glossy, and free of clumps.
- Stir the maple syrup and vanilla extract into the whisked matcha.
- Fill a tall clear glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the chilled coconut water into the glass, leaving space at the top.
- Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the coconut water.
- Gently stir once or twice if desired, or leave it slightly layered.
- Place the scoop of vanilla coconut ice cream on top.
- Serve immediately while cold and creamy.
Notes
- Sift the matcha before whisking for the smoothest texture.
- Use warm water instead of boiling water to avoid bitterness.
- Chill the coconut water before assembling so the ice cream floats longer.
- Add more maple syrup only after tasting, since coconut water and ice cream vary in sweetness.
