Description

A bold and comforting dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet and spicy honey buffalo sauce, served over savory chorizo rice and finished with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken thighs
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 150 grams chorizo, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat and oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix buffalo sauce and honey until smooth.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and cook chorizo slices until slightly crispy, then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook chicken with garlic, salt, and black pepper until golden and fully cooked.
  5. Pour in the honey buffalo sauce and stir to coat the chicken evenly.
  6. Add cooked rice and chorizo back into the skillet, mixing well.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and transfer to the oven until melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.
