- 500 grams ground beef
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Add olive oil, then cook chopped onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef, salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika, then cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Warm tortillas slightly to make them flexible.
- Place a spoonful of beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese onto each tortilla.
- Roll each tortilla tightly.
- Fry the taquitos in a pan with a bit of oil until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
