Description

Crispy golden taquitos filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese, perfect for a quick meal or crowd-pleasing snack.


Ingredients

  • 12 small flour tortillas
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add olive oil, then cook chopped onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add ground beef, salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika, then cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Warm tortillas slightly to make them flexible.
  6. Place a spoonful of beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese onto each tortilla.
  7. Roll each tortilla tightly.
  8. Fry the taquitos in a pan with a bit of oil until golden and crispy on all sides.
  9. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
