- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Cook penne pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, combine buffalo sauce, cream cheese, heavy cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Add shredded chicken and sliced celery to the sauce mixture and stir to coat evenly.
- Fold cooked pasta into the sauce mixture. Stir in 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
- Transfer mixture into prepared baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a faster prep time.
- Freshly shredded cheese melts more smoothly than pre-shredded cheese.
- Add extra buffalo sauce if you prefer more heat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
