- 4 slices milk bread, crustless
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Chill a mixing bowl and whisk in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
- Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until soft peaks form.
- Lay out the milk bread slices on a clean surface.
- Spread a thick layer of whipped cream onto one slice of bread.
- Arrange the strawberries evenly over the cream.
- Add another layer of whipped cream on top of the strawberries.
- Place a second slice of bread on top and gently press.
- Wrap the sandwich and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Trim the crusts if needed and slice diagonally for serving.
Notes
- Use very cold cream for better whipping results.
- Chill before slicing to achieve clean cuts.
- Choose firm, fresh strawberries to prevent sogginess.
