Description

Soft and fluffy Japanese cream sandwiches filled with lightly sweetened whipped cream and fresh strawberries, a delicate and refreshing no-bake dessert.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices milk bread, crustless
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Chill a mixing bowl and whisk in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
  2. Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until soft peaks form.
  3. Lay out the milk bread slices on a clean surface.
  4. Spread a thick layer of whipped cream onto one slice of bread.
  5. Arrange the strawberries evenly over the cream.
  6. Add another layer of whipped cream on top of the strawberries.
  7. Place a second slice of bread on top and gently press.
  8. Wrap the sandwich and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  9. Trim the crusts if needed and slice diagonally for serving.

Notes
