Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • Food coloring (pink, purple, etc.)
  • Edible glitter
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly combine with wet ingredients to form dough.
  4. Chill dough for 30 minutes. Roll out between parchment to ¼-inch thickness.
  5. Cut shapes using cookie cutters and place on baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely on wire racks.
  7. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing. Divide and tint with food coloring.
  8. Decorate cookies with icing, glitter, and sprinkles. Let set completely before serving.
