- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- Food coloring (pink, purple, etc.)
- Edible glitter

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly combine with wet ingredients to form dough.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes. Roll out between parchment to ¼-inch thickness.
- Cut shapes using cookie cutters and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely on wire racks.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing. Divide and tint with food coloring.
- Decorate cookies with icing, glitter, and sprinkles. Let set completely before serving.

- Chilling dough prevents cookies from spreading.
