Description

Ultimate Loaded Nachos are the perfect crowd-pleasing snack or meal, layered high with crispy tortilla chips, seasoned beef, melty cheese, and all your favorite toppings. Ideal for parties, game days, or a fun dinner idea.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (10–12 oz) tortilla chips
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup canned or frozen corn, drained
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
  • 1 avocado or guacamole
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
  4. Spread half the tortilla chips on the prepared baking sheet. Layer with half of the seasoned beef, black beans, corn, onions, and cheese.
  5. Repeat with remaining chips, beef, beans, corn, onions, and cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted.
  7. Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, avocado or guacamole, sour cream, and chopped cilantro.
  8. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side if desired.

Notes

  • Customize with shredded chicken, pulled pork, or ground turkey.
  • Make it vegetarian by skipping the meat and adding more beans or grilled veggies.
  • For individual servings, build nachos in mini cast-iron pans or ramekins.
