Ingredients
- Puff Pastry Sheets: 1 sheet (thawed)
- Unsalted Butter: 3 tablespoons (melted)
- Garlic Cloves: 3 (minced)
- Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Grated Parmesan Cheese: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg: 1 (beaten)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and grated Parmesan.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a slightly larger rectangle.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over the entire surface. Fold the pastry in half lengthwise and cut into 1-inch strips.
- Twist each strip and place them on the baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
- Cool slightly and serve warm with optional extra parsley or Parmesan.
Notes
- Chill the dough before baking for better puff.
- Use garlic powder if fresh garlic isn’t available.
- Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
