Description

The Ultimate Mac ‘n’ Cheese-Stuffed Meatloaf is the ultimate comfort food fusion—creamy, cheesy macaroni and cheese tucked inside a juicy, seasoned meatloaf. It’s hearty, satisfying, and sure to impress at any dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese (cooled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan, forming a well in the center.
  4. Spoon the prepared macaroni and cheese into the center well, gently pressing down to compact slightly.
  5. Cover with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges to enclose the mac and cheese completely.
  6. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  8. Optional: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use homemade or boxed mac and cheese—just make sure it’s cooled before stuffing.
  • Letting the meatloaf rest helps it slice more cleanly and hold together.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated—just cover and refrigerate before baking.
