- 3–4 large sweet onions (like Vidalia), sliced into 1/4-inch rings
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the sliced onions evenly in the baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the onions and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle all three cheeses evenly over the onions.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbly and onions are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
