Description
This warm and cheesy stuffed mushroom dip is the ultimate comfort food, packed with earthy mushrooms, creamy cheese, and savory herbs. Perfect for parties, game nights, or cozy evenings in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped mushrooms for 7–8 minutes until golden and most moisture has evaporated. Let cool slightly.
- Fold sautéed mushrooms into the cheese mixture and spread evenly in the baking dish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbling and golden on top. Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning if desired.
- Let the dip rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve warm with crackers, crostini, or fresh veggies.
Notes
- Use full-fat dairy for the richest flavor and creamiest texture.
- Sauté mushrooms thoroughly to prevent a watery dip.
- Add a sprinkle of breadcrumbs or extra cheese on top for crunch.
- Make ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
