- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

- 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and press into a rectangle, sealing seams.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- In a small saucepan, combine diced strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until thickened, about 5 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Spread strawberry mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Carefully roll the dough from the long side into a tight log. Slice into 1-inch rolls and place cut side up on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream if desired.
