Description

This bold and creamy Steak Bites Cajun Parmesan Mac N Cheese blends juicy, seared steak with rich Cajun-spiced cheese sauce for a mouthwatering comfort food experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 12 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and a pinch of Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a separate pot, melt butter, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk and cream while whisking until smooth.
  6. Stir in garlic powder, remaining Cajun seasoning, Parmesan, and cheddar cheese. Mix until melted and creamy.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  8. Fold in seared steak bites. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  9. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated cheese for a smoother sauce.
  • Let the mac and cheese sit for a few minutes to thicken before serving.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred heat level.
