Description

Spicy Cajun Honey Butter Chicken & Pasta is a rich and creamy meal featuring crispy chicken tossed in a sweet-and-spicy Cajun honey butter sauce, served over tender pasta — perfect for when you want a hearty, indulgent dinner!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound penne or fettuccine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and black pepper, then toss in flour.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes until crispy and fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
  4. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Add garlic, chili flakes, and honey. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and add heavy cream and Parmesan; let it simmer to form a creamy sauce.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in sauce.
  7. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  8. Combine chicken and sauce with the pasta and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add chopped peppers or veggies for additional texture.
  • For less heat, reduce chili flakes and Cajun seasoning.
  • Pair with a side of garlic bread for a complete meal.
