Description

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large yellow onions, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried thyme, then lightly coat with flour.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides, then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté sliced onions until soft, then add garlic.
  5. Stir in remaining flour and cook briefly, then slowly whisk in chicken broth and whole milk.
