- 1.5 lbs (680g) ground beef
- 1/2 lb (225g) ground pork
- 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (remove seeds for less heat)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp barbecue sauce (optional, for topping)
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing (for drizzle)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped jalapeños, cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined — do not overmix.
- Shape into a loaf and place on a lined or greased baking sheet or loaf pan.
- Brush top with barbecue sauce if using.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
- Drizzle with ranch dressing before serving.

- Substitute ground pork with turkey for a leaner version.
