Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, stirred in at the end)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and easily shreddable.
  5. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks and stir to combine.
