- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, stirred in at the end)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and easily shreddable.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks and stir to combine.
- Optional: Stir in sour cream for extra creaminess.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
