Description

This Shrimp Caesar Salad is a fresh and flavorful twist on the classic. Juicy grilled shrimp, crunchy romaine, golden croutons, and creamy Caesar dressing come together in perfect harmony for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 large heads romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shaved or grated
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 3/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste (optional)
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil it.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, Dijon mustard, anchovy paste, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper until creamy. Stir in parmesan cheese.
  3. Place shrimp in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Grill or sear for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
  4. In a large bowl, toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing. Add shrimp, croutons, and parmesan.
  5. If making homemade croutons, toast bread cubes until golden and crunchy.
  6. Toss everything gently to coat evenly. Top with extra cheese and black pepper.
  7. Serve immediately while shrimp is warm and lettuce is crisp.

  • Use day-old bread for crunchier homemade croutons.
  • Chill lettuce and plates for extra crispness.
