Description

A creamy and flavorful seafood pasta loaded with tender shrimp, sweet crab meat, and a rich garlic-infused sauce, perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound lump crab meat
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Gently fold in crab meat and cooked shrimp. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen (thawed) seafood for best results.
  • You can substitute crab with scallops or more shrimp if desired.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
