Description
A creamy and flavorful seafood pasta loaded with tender shrimp, sweet crab meat, and a rich garlic-infused sauce, perfect for a comforting dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 pound lump crab meat
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Gently fold in crab meat and cooked shrimp. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen (thawed) seafood for best results.
- You can substitute crab with scallops or more shrimp if desired.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
