  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Béarnaise sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in milk gradually to form a soft dough.
  5. Roll out dough on a floured surface into a 1/2-inch-thick rectangle.
  6. Sprinkle with ham, cheese, and parsley.
  7. Roll dough up tightly and cut into 8 slices.
  8. Place slices cut-side down on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Drizzle with warm Béarnaise sauce before serving.
