Description

These sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast roll-ups are a quick, protein-packed morning meal wrapped in golden crescent dough — perfect for busy mornings or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cooked breakfast sausage (crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat and stir in cooked sausage.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of egg and sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Top with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  6. Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end, and place on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.

  • Use turkey or plant-based sausage for a lighter or vegetarian option.
  • These can be prepped ahead and frozen — reheat in the microwave or oven.
  • Add diced peppers or onions to the egg mixture for extra flavor.
