Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skinless and boneless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat while you prep the salmon.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Once the pan is hot, drizzle a little oil if needed and spread it evenly with a paper towel.
  4. Add salmon cubes to the hot pan in a single layer without overcrowding.
  5. Let them sear undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until golden, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle with melted butter and fresh lemon juice. Toss gently to coat.
  7. Transfer to a plate, sprinkle with parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Pat the salmon dry before seasoning to ensure a crisp sear.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan to avoid steaming the salmon.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
