Description
These raspberry chocolate bars combine a buttery crumb base, gooey raspberry jam, melty chocolate chips, and a golden topping for the perfect sweet treat. They’re easy to make and even easier to love.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and vanilla, and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press two-thirds of the mixture firmly into the prepared pan to form the base layer.
- Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the base. Scatter the fresh raspberries and chocolate chips over the jam.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden and set. Let cool completely in the pan.
- Optionally drizzle with melted chocolate. Lift out and slice into bars. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Use parchment paper for easy clean-up and removal.
- Let the bars cool completely before slicing for cleaner cuts.
- You can swap raspberry jam with any berry jam you prefer.
