Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiled potatoes, mashed
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 3 tablespoons corn flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes. Add grated mozzarella, corn flour, black pepper, salt, chili flakes, and chopped parsley. Mix well to form a soft dough.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.
  4. Once the oil is hot, gently drop the balls in and fry until golden brown, turning to cook evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and parsley to prepare the herb sauce.
  6. Serve the hot cheese balls with a side of chilled herb sauce.
