- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- A handful of fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker and lightly grease it with olive oil.
- In a bowl, mix the mozzarella, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning together.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place one dough round on the waffle maker, add a spoonful of sauce and the cheese mixture, then top with another dough round and seal the edges.
- Close the waffle maker and cook for 3–5 minutes, until golden and crisp.
- Let rest for 1–2 minutes, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with chopped basil.
- Slice and serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
