- 1 sheet croissant dough or puff pastry
- 1 cup pistachio cream
- 1 egg yolk, beaten with 1 tsp water
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup melted white chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt white chocolate (if using) and beat the egg yolk with water. Prepare pistachio cream.
- Roll out croissant dough on a floured surface.
- Spread or pipe pistachio cream evenly across the dough, then roll into a tight log and slice into thick spirals.
- Place rolls on baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with white chocolate and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Let the pistachio cream chill slightly before using for easier spreading.
- Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
