Description

A festive, crowd-pleasing combo of flaky pigs in blankets and juicy chicken sliders with cranberry and cheese. Perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 12 mini sausages
  • 1 tube crescent roll dough (about 8 oz)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 mini slider buns
  • 3 tablespoons cranberry sauce
  • 3 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix shredded chicken with cranberry sauce and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and cut into 12 small triangles. Slice cheese and prepare buns.
  4. Wrap each mini sausage with a dough triangle, place on baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  5. Assemble sliders by spreading mayo on buns, adding chicken mixture, and topping with cheese slices.
  6. Bake pigs in blankets for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Bake sliders for 10 minutes until cheese melts and buns toast.
  7. Let cool slightly, garnish if desired, and serve warm.
