Description

A comforting and flavorful bowl packed with tender sliced beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted cheese, offering all the classic flavors in a lighter, bread-free version.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 grams beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat until hot.
  2. Season the sliced beef with salt and black pepper in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and let it warm.
  4. Add onions and bell peppers, cook until softened and slightly golden, then remove and set aside.
  5. Cook the beef in the same skillet until browned and fully cooked.
  6. Return vegetables to the skillet, mix well, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top and allow it to melt.
  7. Stir gently to combine and serve hot in bowls.

Notes

  • Slice the beef very thin for best tenderness
  • Do not overcrowd the pan while cooking
  • Add cheese at the end to keep it creamy
  • Reheat leftovers in a skillet for best texture
