- 2 medium ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted hazelnuts
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thinly slice pears and toast chopped hazelnuts in a dry skillet.
- Unroll croissant dough and cut into triangles if needed.
- Spread a thin layer of chocolate hazelnut spread on each triangle.
- Top with 2-3 pear slices and a sprinkle of hazelnuts.
- Roll croissants from wide end to the point and place on baking sheet.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
