Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt until smooth.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls.
  4. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  5. Use a fork to gently press a crisscross pattern on each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are set and lightly golden.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
