Description

The Original Fantasy Fudge Recipe is a nostalgic, creamy chocolate treat made with marshmallow creme, chocolate chips, and evaporated milk. This no-fail classic fudge is perfect for holidays, gifting, or anytime you crave a rich, indulgent dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 oz) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Boil for 4–5 minutes or until the mixture reaches 234°F (112°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  5. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla; stir until well combined and creamy.
  6. Fold in chopped walnuts if using.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Let cool at room temperature until set, then cut into squares.
