Description

One Pot Shrimp and Creamy Garlic Tortellini is a quick and delicious meal combining tender shrimp, cheese-filled tortellini, and a luscious garlic cream sauce—all cooked together in a single pot for easy cleanup and rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and tortellini. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tortellini is tender.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, cooked shrimp, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through and sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
