Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces dry fettuccine
- 1 pound raw chicken pieces, cubed
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Set a large pot over medium heat and let it warm up.
- Melt butter in the pot, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until just golden.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle boil.
- Add dry fettuccine into the pot. Stir to coat the pasta in the creamy liquid.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add peas in the last 3 minutes.
- Turn off heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until fully melted and sauce thickens.
- Serve hot with extra Parmesan and cracked black pepper on top.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
- If sauce gets too thick, add a splash of broth or cream to loosen it.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
