Description
Nutella Filled Waffles are golden, crispy on the outside and filled with warm, gooey Nutella on the inside. These decadent waffles are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert and will satisfy any chocolate lover’s craving.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter (or vegetable oil)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Nutella (about 1 tablespoon per waffle)
- Non-stick spray or additional butter for greasing waffle iron
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions and lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs, then mix in milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix).
- Pour a small amount of batter onto the waffle iron, then quickly add about 1 tablespoon of Nutella in the center, and top with more batter to cover.
- Close the waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp, about 3–5 minutes depending on your machine.
- Carefully remove and serve warm. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar or top with fruit, whipped cream, or syrup.
Notes
- Freeze Nutella dollops ahead of time to make filling easier and prevent leaking.
- Make a batch and freeze extra waffles — just reheat in the toaster for a quick treat.
- Try adding sliced bananas or strawberries inside for a fruity twist.
