Description

Flaky puff pastry filled with creamy Nutella and sweet banana slices, baked to golden perfection and lightly dusted with powdered sugar

Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry Sheets: 2 sheets, thawed, provide a flaky, buttery base
  • Nutella: 1/2 cup, creamy chocolate-hazelnut filling
  • Bananas: 2 medium, sliced, add natural sweetness and soft texture
  • Powdered Sugar: 1 teaspoon, for a light decorative dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Slice the bananas evenly and place Nutella in a small ramekin for easier spreading
  3. Ensure your baking sheet is lined and ready
  4. Roll out the puff pastry slightly, cut into squares, spread a small amount of Nutella in the center, top with banana slices, then fold or create a pocket
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until puff pastry is golden and crisp
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar
  7. Serve warm and enjoy

Notes

  • Use chilled puff pastry for the flakiest layers
  • Do not overfill to prevent Nutella from leaking
  • Dust with powdered sugar right before serving for best presentation
  • Reheat leftovers gently in the oven to maintain crispness
