- 1 (3 oz / 85 g) package strawberry flavored Jello
- 1 cup (250 ml) ice cold water
- 8 oz (225 g) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (9-inch / 22 cm) graham cracker crumb crust
- Whipped cream and fresh strawberries, optional for decorating
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jello in the boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Add the ice cold water and stir well. Let the mixture sit until it thickens slightly, about 5–10 minutes.
- Fold in the thawed whipped topping gently until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the pie is fully set.
- Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries before serving, if desired.
Notes
- Make sure the Jello mixture has cooled slightly before folding in the whipped topping to prevent it from melting.
- This pie can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- For extra strawberry flavor, add sliced fresh strawberries into the filling before chilling.
