- 1 cup crushed cannoli shells or waffle cones
- Chopped pistachios, for garnish (optional)
- Extra mini chocolate chips, for topping
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using). Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- In serving glasses or a dish, layer crushed cannoli shells or waffle cones at the bottom.
- Spoon the cannoli cream mixture over the crust layer.
- Repeat the layers if desired, ending with the cream on top.
- Garnish with extra mini chocolate chips and chopped pistachios.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to blend.
Notes
- Make sure to drain the ricotta if it’s too watery for a thicker texture.
- You can substitute mascarpone with cream cheese if needed.
- This dessert can be made a day ahead and kept refrigerated until serving.
