Description

A creamy, decadent no-bake dessert inspired by traditional Italian cannoli, layered with ricotta, mascarpone, and mini chocolate chips for a quick and indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 cup crushed cannoli shells or waffle cones
  • Chopped pistachios, for garnish (optional)
  • Extra mini chocolate chips, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using). Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  3. In serving glasses or a dish, layer crushed cannoli shells or waffle cones at the bottom.
  4. Spoon the cannoli cream mixture over the crust layer.
  5. Repeat the layers if desired, ending with the cream on top.
  6. Garnish with extra mini chocolate chips and chopped pistachios.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to blend.

Notes

  • Make sure to drain the ricotta if it’s too watery for a thicker texture.
  • You can substitute mascarpone with cream cheese if needed.
