- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sear the chicken thighs on both sides until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk until combined and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Lightly grease a baking dish and arrange the seared chicken thighs in it.
- Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle the top with grated parmesan cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
