  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sear the chicken thighs on both sides until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent.
  4. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk until combined and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Lightly grease a baking dish and arrange the seared chicken thighs in it.
  6. Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle the top with grated parmesan cheese.
